A Lightweight Powerhouse

The Kove MX450 is engineered for maximum performance and minimal weight, delivering an exceptional power-to-weight ratio. Its liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 449cc DOHC four-stroke engine produces an impressive 62 BHP, ensuring competitive-level performance across motocross and enduro disciplines. Power is delivered through a close-ratio 5-speed transmission, optimized for smooth shifting and consistent drive throughout the rev range.

With a dry weight of just 102 kg, the MX450 ranks among the lightest in its class, offering exceptional handling and agility. The lightweight chromoly steel frame provides a balanced combination of rigidity and flex.

Superior Suspension & Rider Control

The MX450 is equipped with Yu-An suspension components. Although Yu-An remains a relatively lesser-known name in the market, it operates under the same manufacturing umbrella as Showa. The two brands share common service components, internal valving hardware, and spring specifications. In practical terms, this results in performance characteristics and serviceability that closely mirror Showa’s high end established suspension systems..

Responsive Braking & Agile Geometry

Stopping power comes from a single floating front disc with a 2-piston caliper and a single rear disc with a 1-piston caliper, delivering smooth, controllable braking. Mounted on a CST 90/90-21 front tire and a 110/90-19 rear tire, the MX450’s 38.5° steering angle and 28° rake ensure razor-sharp handling and instant turn-in for tight trails and fast ripping alike
