The first race of the Superbike World Championship began last Friday, March twenty-second, at Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit, and with it the second season of KOVE in the WSSP300 category. Marc García #22, World Champion in two thousand and seventeen, now also has an ally in the box, Julio García #48.
On Friday, a new format was released, with only a free practice and the Superpole. A format that delighted the young man from Malaga who achieved pole position with a time of 1:55.313. Marc qualified twenty.
On Saturday in the warm-up, Julio was penalised with three grid positions, he started from fourth place but in the first stages of the race an electronic failure left him out. On the other hand, Marc García recovered to seventh place, snatching the record of the circuit from Álvaro Díaz who held from two thousand and twenty-one.

Continuing with the novelties of the season, the grid of race two, was formed according to the first ten fast laps of race one. The time of #22 made him the first poleman on Sunday.
An unforgettable Sunday where KOVE continued to make history. Julio García won the first podium of the Chinese brand in the World Superbike Championship, being second to 0.064 of the victory. Marc finished eighteenth. KOVE Racing Team closed a weekend full of successes.
