From First Race Win to World Champion

KOVE’s journey to the top has been nothing short of extraordinary. In 2024, the brand made headlines by becoming the first Chinese manufacturer to win a WSBK SSP300 race, also at Jerez, in Race 2. That victory set the stage for what would become a historic 2025 season.

In 2025, KOVE entered the SSP300 championship with only one bike on the grid, facing fierce competition from 15 Kawasaki, 12 Yamaha, and 3 KTM machines. Against all odds, KOVE’s rider and team demonstrated unmatched consistency, speed, and determination, ultimately clinching the World Championship title.

A New Era for Chinese Motorcycle Racing

This triumph isn’t just a win for KOVE,  it’s a statement to the global racing community.
KOVE’s victory showcases how Chinese motorcycle technology and performance have rapidly evolved to compete at the highest levels of international racing.

With this championship, KOVE has proven that innovation, perseverance, and engineering excellence can make history, no matter where a brand begins.2025_Round08_Jerez_WorldSSP300_Sunday-6059

Three Years of Hard Work, Racing Towards the Dream

KOVE’s journey in WSBK began in 2023. Despite a rocky start, finishing last at the opening round in the Netherlands, KOVE did not give up. Instead, the team remained determined and kept improving, steadily making progress in the series. In July 2023, KOVE scored its first points at the Italian round and was on track for a strong second-place finish at the Czech round. However, a crash in the final laps cost them the podium. Despite the setback, KOVE remained focused on its ultimate goal of winning a championship.

From Rising Stars to Historic Victory

In 2024, KOVE’s performance continued to improve. At the Catalunya round, KOVE claimed second place, marking the first podium finish for a Chinese brand in the top-tier racing series. At the Aragón round, KOVE finished second, just 0.01 seconds off the winner. Then, in October 2024, KOVE made history by winning its first race at Jerez, realizing the dream that had been set from the very beginning.

2025: Overcoming Challenges and Reaching the Top

The 2025 season saw KOVE capitalize on the experience and data accumulated over the previous seasons. In the face of intense competition from Kawasaki, Yamaha, and KTM, KOVE’s performance became more polished and confident. Throughout the season, KOVE earned 5 best lap times, 2 third-place finishes, 2 second-place finishes, and 3 race victories, ultimately securing the World Championship title. This victory represents not just a personal achievement for KOVE, but a milestone for Chinese motorcycle brands breaking the European and Japanese dominance in global racing.
